Costcutter & Supermac's in Ballyhea, Co Cork, are currently looking to recruit a General Manager.

THE ROLE:

• Planning, budgeting, financial reporting, inventory control and the co-ordination of all activities within your store.
• Ensure effective stock control systems are in place.
• Preparation for and management of stock take.
• Ensure effective stock control procedures are in place to minimise stock loss.
• Ensure effective food management and waste systems are implemented, managed and updated appropriately.
• Managing banking, cash reconciliation, putting effective systems in place to ensure security of cash on premises and in transit.
• Sets budgets, manages costs, builds sales, and leads by example.
• Responds to requests from various head office departments
• Takes the lead role in managing recruitment, selection, placement, training, development, and HR plans
• Get involved in community generating business and goodwill
• Investigate and respond directly to employee relations and customer complaints having the potential for significant impact on the business
• Ability to prioritise in the best interest of the business.
• Operate within the guidelines of the law
• Ability to adapt to new procedures, standards and changes as directed by company or legislation
• Conducting in house appraisals in a timely fashion leading to a personnel development plan for all employees
• Conducts his/her self in a professional manner at all times especially when in the public eye
• Gets to know customers profiles and who the market is and goes after it
